Luis is excited to work with WEST for the first time, and to get the closest to being in a Hallmark script! Recent credits include Mr. Smith (The Fortune Teller), Narrator (The Poppy Whorer Picture Show), Jafar (The Descendants), Reggie (First Date: The Musical) and many Hamilton Fringe Shows not only as an actor, but writer, director, producer, and stage manager. Luis is especially proud of his Fringe Show Another Birthday At the Buffet as it was a production of his theatre company Mixed Theatre Hamilton which aims to do shows showcasing BIPOC artists in Hamilton. Luis hopes you enjoy the show and to have the best holidays this year!

Nectaria Bogdanis
Nan

Nectaria is thrilled to return to WEST to reprise the role of Nan and would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Favourite roles include Becca (Rabbit Hole), Maureen (The Beauty Queen of Leenane), Amanda (Private Lives), Catherine (The Heiress), Suzy (Strictly Murder), and Truvy (Steel Magnolias) which earned her an ACT-CO nomination for Outstanding Performance. Nectaria is an entrepreneur in Oakville, building her business, Soapfistication, and wants to take this opportunity to remind everyone to support their local small businesses. Nectaria sends her love and thanks to Peter, who didn’t really know how often he’d be home alone with Albie while Nectaria goes to rehearsal.

Maureen Dwyer
Miss Packer

Moe Dwyer is excited to be appearing as Miss Packer, the eternal school marm. Other West End shows include Trojan Women and Waiting for the Parade. It is always a gift to work with Yo Mustafa, and such a beautiful cast!! Happy Holidays one and all.

Gabriela is thrilled to be part of Home for Christmas. She has worked with WEST on other  productions including Our Town and Talking With.... She thanks her family and friends for their support and Yo for the opportunity to be part of such a special show. Enjoy!

Kelly Kimpton

Kelly is delighted to return to WEST, reunited with Yo and the wonderfully talented friends she first met while playing Sonia in Vanya, Sonia, Masha & Spike and Hecuba in Trojan Women. She is equally excited to join the cast of God of Carnage this coming spring. Home for Christmas carries a message that feels especially meaningful to her this year, and she feels truly blessed for her supportive family.

Brian Melanson

Brian is honoured to be back for this remount of Home for Christmas, playing the role of Jim. Brian has been involved with community theatre in the GTA for over 30 years, most recently playing Juror #10 in 12 Angry Men and the frustrated Vanya for WEST’s production of Vanya, Sonya, Masha & Spike. Past favourite performances include Mortimer in Arsenic and Old Lace for Dundas Little Theatre, Brick in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Moises in The Laramie Project, and Marc in Art (all with WEST).

Braden is excited to be back with WEST doing Home for Christmas a third time. He has also done multiple productions throughout the GTA and Hamilton. Big thanks to Yo, Laura, his family, and the rest of his friends at WEST for their support.

Carla Zabek
Jean

Carla is very happy to play Jean in this touching family Christmas play. Her Polish-Canadian heritage instilled in her the importance of family. Carla fondly remembers large extended, multi-general family gatherings at her parents' house to celebrate both traditional Polish Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Carla wishes everyone a festive holiday season full of peace, joy, and love.

Bernard is pleased to be involved in his first Christmas show with West End Studio Theatre. He has been involved in various community theatre roles in the Oakville, Burlington, and Hamilton area for the past several years.

Jessica is excited to participate in her second WEST production, having previously been a member of the Chorus in Trojan Women. After stepping away from the performing arts for many years, Saghar proudly returned in January 2023 as a student of WEST. She is honoured to be part of Home for Christmas and deeply appreciative of Yo for his inspiring mentorship and exceptional direction. This production has been a meaningful and joy-filled experience.

Camille is delighted to make her stage debut with West End Studio Theatre. She has studied acting at WEST for several years and previously took local improv classes. Camille thanks director Yo Mustafa and her fellow actors for their ongoing support and inspiration."
