W.E.S.T. Acting Classes/Workshops

W.E.S.T. offers Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer Sessions for the various classes. The March Break Camp and Summer Camps are also offered for children ages 7 to 16.  Please register for our workshops through our Eventbrite webpage linked below. Refunds are only given when a class session is canceled, otherwise, credit for a future session will be issued. Class Descriptions

For more information, see the EventBrite page for each class. All classes are open to any level of experience unless otherwise stated. Not all classes are offered each session.
Musical Theatre for Adults

Emphasis on learning the technique to combine acting and singing. Students will explore characterization and emotional truth through song.

Stage Acting 2
(Ages 12 to 14)

Emphasis on character development and storytelling. Students will work on plays collaboratively through improvisation as well as theatre games.

Film & TV Acting 2
(Ages 12 to 14)

Musical Theatre
(Ages 13 to 17)

Emphasis on learning the technique to combine acting and singing. Students will explore characterization and emotional truth through song.

Stage Acting 3
(Ages 15 to 17)

Emphasis on scene study and character development. Students will study and work with plays from both contemporary and classic playwrights.

Film & TV Acting 3 (Ages 15 to Adult)

Emphasis on film and TV fundamentals in a rehearsal, tape, and playback format to keep skills fresh between auditions.

Stage Acting 1
(Ages 7 to 11)

Emphasis on storytelling. Students will engage in role play and improvisation to encourage confidence and concentration.

Film & TV Acting 1
(Ages 9 to 11)

Emphasis on cold reading and scene fundamentals in a rehearsal, tape, and playback format. Students will learn to bring energy, spontaneity, and realism to the scene.

Stage Acting for Adults

Emphasis on stage acting fundamentals, including scene work, monologues, and improvisation; a workshop environment.
